欧州科学教育学会(ESERA2017,ダブリン)で発表したときに書いた仮説実験授業を紹介する英語論文。内容は板倉聖宣先生の『仮説実験授業ー授業書〈ばねと力〉によるその具体化』(仮説社1973,初出『国立教育研究所紀要』1967)の一部を紹介したもの。仮説実験授業を英語で紹介した論文はこれまでほとんどないので，今後国外に紹介していくにあたって，少しでも役立てばうれしい。
